The Oaks At Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation is located 7 miles west of Katy, Texas, just off of I-10, in Brookshire, Texas at 710 Highway 359 South. The facility services the West Houston, Katy, Brookshire, Sealy, and Fulshear areas. The Oaks at Brookshire Nursing and Rehab offers short term (respite), long term, and skilled nursing care with all facets of therapy; including physical, occupational and speech therapies. The Oaks at Brookshire Nursing and Rehab offers spacious private and semiprivate accommodations for their residents. The Oaks at Brookshire creates a “Home away from Home” country setting for the residents and offers a proven Rehab program. Therapies are also provided by the Oaks at Brookshire for the community as Outpatient therapy services. The Oaks at Brookshire accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Pending, Private, Veterans, and Insurance.
In addition, The Oaks at Brookshire offers memory care in an intimate secured home-like country atmosphere with secured outside walking areas and a gazebo for enjoying the outside. The Oaks at Brookshire Memory Care Unit is distinguished from other facilities by its use of Music First. Through Music First we are able to improve the quality of life by providing a variety of engaging content in an easily accessible manner. Music, spirituality, education, news, and audio books are tailored and delivered to each resident. Music First benefits the resident by improving the quality of life, increasing cognitive stimulation, and stimulating memory recall. Music First also assists in lowering psychotropic medication use, stress and anxiety, and stimulates body movement.
