Manor Oaks Nursing & Rehab Center is nestled in a peaceful, country setting only minutes from some of Texas’s largest cities. We are centered in the middle of Temple, Waco, Bryan/College Station and Austin. The population of Rockdale is approximately 5,500 people and 33% are over the age of 50. Our country setting and convenient location allows our residents to feel relaxed yet active and makes it convenient for families to visit and spend time with their loved ones. Our facility is complete with a courtyard/gazebo, beauty shop, free cable and a full-time program supervisor.Our combined staff has over 100 years of experience in the care giving of our residents. We strive to meet the individual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each individual resident.
Our Memory Care Unit is one of the best in the area. We have a secured unit where we offer the exclusive on Music First™ Music Therapy. Participating patients receive a series of custom, individualized Music Prescriptions™ from a Board of Certified Music Therapists. Benefits of music therapy include increasing and maintaining a level of physical, mental and social/emotional functioning. Music Therapy has been shown to have profound impacts on persons suffering from Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other age related problems.
In addition, our facility is set up for Hospice Care, Daycare, Respite Care and Outpatient Rehabilitation. Our nursing services include all meals and supplies, laundry, housekeeping, daily activities, weekend activities, therapy services, nursing staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week and RN coverage seven days a week.
Our activities calendar is full of Fall Festivals, Wine & Cheese socials, birthday celebrations, steak & potato dinners, theme days, arts & crafts, food preparation, field trips, lunch outings, picnics, holiday celebrations and much, much more.
